Public Workshop 1 Attracts 90+ Participants

Our first drop in style Public Workshop on June 24th in Albany drew over 90 interested individuals with a wide range of ideas, concerns and questions regarding the study and the study area. The project team and study sponsors thank you for attending and providing your input! All the materials displayed at the workshop including a copy of the presentation can be found under Resources.

The workshop included presentations as well as several activity stations.

If you were not able to attend the first workshop, a second workshop is being held on Tuesday, June 30th in Watervliet. You can also participate in a brief survey and offer additional ideas here.

Interactive stations such as 'map it' allow for a range of input opportunities.

Check back for more news and information about the study and the input received in the next few weeks!

Public Workshops Scheduled June 24th and June 30th

Join us at one of two public workshops on June 24th in Albany or June 30th in Watervliet to discuss the future of the I-787/waterfront corridor. The purpose of the workshops is to introduce the study and its objectives, to share information on existing land uses and the transportation system and to provide opportunities for input on short and long term transportation and land use strategies.

Along with a brief presentation, workshop attendees will be able to view study area maps and data, can offer initial input on strategy and evaluation criteria and can participate in a hands on "map your ideas" station. Details for each workshop are provided below and in this meeting flyer.
