Preliminary Workshop Summary Available

The first glimpse into the ideas shared by the public at two public workshops held in June and through online and Textizen surveys through July 2015 is now available. A two page summary document highlights facts about who attended the workshops, where attendees live vs. where they work and the most used words by attendees in the written comment sheets. A summary of the emphasis areas of greatest interest to attendees is also provided, indicating that access for bicycles and pedestrians and economic development are most important. Additional summary materials will be developed as stakeholder outreach is completed in September 2015.

Textizen and Online Surveys Now Closed

Thank you to the 75+ individuals that submitted suggestions and input in the month of June through our text messaging and online survey tools. Though not scientific surveys, the consultant team will be folding the responses into a broader summary of what we heard at the public workshops. Check back later this summer for updates on the study.

Public Workshop 1 Attracts 90+ Participants

The project team and study sponsors thank you for attending and providing your input! All the materials displayed at the workshop including a copy of the presentation can be found under Resources.

The workshop included presentations as well as several activity stations.

If you were not able to attend the first workshop, a second workshop is being held on Tuesday, June 30th in Watervliet. You can also participate in a brief survey and offer additional ideas here.

Interactive stations such as 'map it' allow for a range of input opportunities.
